Franklin High School was awarded eight Tommy Awards for their 2016 production of "Fiddler on the Roof" according to a news release May 24.
The annual Croatian Fest will take place Saturday, July 16th at Croatian Park located at 9100 S. 76th Street in Franklin, WI. Experience the culture, food, and drinks of Croatia. There is a $5 Admission for adults, and children 12 & Under are Free. There will be a cultural program at 2pm. Live Music will be provided by T.S. Treca Sreca, which is a traditional Croatian band from Chicago, IL from 3:30pm until 6:30pm. Then the ever popular Mt. Olive will be providing the entertainment from 7pm until close. Try some of the wonderful foods ranging from the roasted lamb, pork, and chicken... or grilled items like cevapcici or Croatian sausage. They also will have bakery, and other desserts. There will be a wide selection of refreshments ranging from Miller Beer products, some WI craft beers including a Croatian Park Ale from Leinenkugel, and Karlovacko beer from Croatia, and plenty more! This event is open to the public and everyone is welcome.
