It has been an emotional week for Kayla’s Krew. With a deadline quickly approaching to build an all-accessible playground in Franklin, the nonprofit organization is facing more challenges with the city than ever before.
Expansion of the city’s water and sewer facility will now begin, after city officials and representatives of Graef, Miron Construction Co. Inc., broke ground on the property Tuesday, March 17.
The Franklin Lioness Club is pleased to announce that it is offering up to six $600 scholarships to high school seniors and/or Franklin adults (high school or college graduates) who demonstrate exceptional service to their community and are pursuing higher educational goals. The Franklin Lioness scholarship program is designed to encourage Franklin residents to continue their education AND their volunteerism beyond high school. These scholarships are offered only to Franklin residents. Please contact Tracy Kukla-Lewis to have the application materials emailed to you at email@example.com. Applications are due by April 30, 2015 and must be mailed.
